A Reiki treatment is provided to a fully clothed recipient who is lying on a treatment table.
Through light, non-invasive touch the practitioner may use hands in areas such as the head, torso, feet, knees and legs or may stay in one location at the ankles.

Reiki is a subjective experience and sometimes very subtle. You may detect heat or refreshing coolness in the practitioner's hands. On a given day you may receive light pulsations where the practioner's  hands are.  Your mind-body connection will be a heavy influence on your experience for that particular session.

With Reiki you may have a feeling that you are hovering in a threshold state of consciousness, simultaneously aware of your surroundings and deeply indrawn. Sometimes you will fall into a deep, sleeplike meditative state. Sometimes your first experience with Reiki is dramatic, and other first session, in some cases, may be uneventful.  We believe you will always feel somehow better afterward due to an immediate release of stress and a feeling of deep relaxation. Reiki is cumulative and even people who don't notice much the first time usually have progressively deeper experiences as they continue. Besides the immediate experience of the Reiki, you may notice other changes that continue to unfold as your day goes on: perhaps stronger digestion, a sense of being more centered and poised and less reactive, and sleeping deeply the night of your treatment.

Receiving Reiki is a wonderfully passive experience. Don't try to relax, just let the Reiki relax you. Your state will shift quite naturally as the session proceeds. Meanwhile feel free to daydream, enjoy the music, or simply observe your breath or the sensations of the therapy.

Attunements to become a Practioner

Attunements are done the traditional Usui way. There are 3 levels - Level 1 is to focus on healing yourself, Level 2 is to work on others and Master Level or Level 3 is to attune and help others to spread the practice.
